Paying bills isn’t exactly a scream… until you forget to do it. Prudential partnered with e-GIRO—an auto-deduction platform that simplifies insurance payments but adoption was low. The challenge? Get policyholders to switch from manual to automated payments using e-GIRO.
So, what was our move?
We launched during Halloween, so we leaned into the fear factor: what if your unpaid bills came back to haunt you? The EDM visual featured an eerie pile of bills morphing into the shape of the iconic Scream mask—reminding users that there’s nothing scarier than missed payments. With a bold call to switch to auto-pay, we turned a seasonal moment into a billing nudge wrapped in horror-comedy flair.
